By far this 40-meter observation tower is the tallest and most stunning platform in the whole Manu region. A stainless steel staircase will lead you to a wooden structure carefully built on top of this kapok tree, where you can enjoy the panoramic view of the rainforest, while you contemplate flocks of paradise Opals and white throated Jacamars flying through the canopy line. From the top of the tower, the nearby Blanquillo Clay Lick will offer the overwhelmed birder a panoramic view of the daily activities performed by macaws, parakeets and other bird species that pass at eye level altitude. You never know what you will find. |
